The Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association announced that Kansas City has been named one of the Top 10 Travel destinations for 2012 by Frommer’s. Appearing alongside destinations such as Curacao and Ghana, Kansas City is the only American city to make the 2012 list. Frommer’s editors praised several local attractions, including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
