Many of us juggle family and work and to some it’s very easy and to others it’s more difficult. Regardless of our situations, we have time on our hands. What we do with our time and where we place importance makes a difference in the quality of our lives.

What time have you spent in the last 30 days which has made you feel good?

All I want to do is inspire you.

There is a reason why we wake up in the morning. A reason why life isn’t about our to-do list and picking up the house. As we grow and build our minds and spirituality, we find those experiences which propel us to make big things happen to make the world a better place.

Jessica Jackley inspired me and I want to share this with you! When I launched the KC Metro Chapter of NAPW this video was part of my launch presentation.  It’s 18 minutes long, so don’t watch this at work or if you are in a hurry. I hope Jessica inspires you like she inspired me!

We had a great holiday party and I’d like to thank everyone for joining me at my house and making the evening so very special. It was great getting together and toasting to the holidays and New Year.

For those members who attended meetings in 2011 I would like to thank you! For those members who have not attended a meeting I’d like to invite you to our 2012 planning meeting on January 25th at 6:30pm.  We will be having a sit-down dinner at West Chase Grille off 119th & Roe. Following are a few agenda items we will be covering:

• Fundraising – which organizations will we be fundraising for in the next quarter. Please bring ideas and share them with the group.
• Networking & Recruitment – When and where will we be having our recruitment event. Please bring ideas for these events and build a list of friends you would like to invite.
• Fun – Bring ideas of fun activities you would like to do as a group.
