There is a reason why we wake up in the morning. A reason why life isn’t about our to-do list and picking up the house. As we grow and build our minds and spirituality, we find those experiences which propel us to make big things happen to make the world a better place.

We had a great holiday party and I’d like to thank everyone for joining me at my house and making the evening so very special. It was great getting together and toasting to the holidays and New Year. For those members who attended meetings in 2011 I would like to thank you! For those members who have not attended a meeting I’d like to invite you to our 2012 planning meeting on January 25th at 6:30pm. The Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association announced that Kansas City has been named one of the Top 10 Travel destinations for 2012 by Frommer’s. Appearing alongside destinations such as Curacao and Ghana, Kansas City is the only American city to make the 2012 list. Frommer’s editors praised several local attractions, including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
